Zimbabwe at the Sharjah FDI Forum

One official investment mission, from visas to the stand to the investor table.

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates — December 9–11, 2018

Global Premium Events facilitated Zimbabwe’s official investment mission to the Sharjah FDI Forum 2018, hosted by the Sharjah FDI Office of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq). We handled the delegation’s visas and travel, designed, built and staffed the Zimbabwe stand, matched the delegation with investors, and brought them into the pre-conference workshop on attracting foreign direct investment.

High-Level Recognition

On the opening day, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, visited the Zimbabwe stand with H.E. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister of Economy, and H.E. Marwan Bin Jassim Al Sarkal, Executive Chairman of Shurooq. Sarah Zineb Boumouja, CEO of Global Premium Events, received His Highness, presented the official Zimbabwe delegation and walked him through the country’s investment opportunities. The delegation was then received in a meeting at the Majlis of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.

A pre-conference workshop and a two-day forum with ministers, ambassadors, investment agencies and investors from Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas — with Zimbabwe present at every stage, from the workshop room to the exhibition floor and the main stage.
